Seriously, I keep the floorboards of my truck covered in empty beer cans. It makes a helluva racket when stepped on or if the pass door is opened and they fall out. I had a state trooper give me a ticket once for open container and it was dismissed when I went to court because an empty container is not an open container.

And about the fire, I don't it was ever explained, but maybe it was from the fireplace because everyone probably had a fire going since it was winter time, but maybe she had her stove on too or somethingwell i rly hope i helped and good luck! )
