okay i no when somebody has not enough iron they tend to have nose bleeds, but when u have too much iron. what happens?

Men should stop taking iron supplements at 20. women should stop at menopause. There is no simple visible symptom that will warn you before you wind up seeing a physician. Physician will find out from the blood test and not from the symptoms.
Iron overload can cause serious health problems. Symptoms are fatigue, joint aches, and impotence. When iron overload is more advanced, there can be signs that indicate liver damage, heart failure or diabetes. Have a doctor check iron levels and keep watch of other health issues.
iron toxicity symptoms may be GI distress iron overload : infections, fatigue (eventough if you have an iron deficient diet you would still suffer fro fatigue), joint pains, skin pigmentation and organ damage. the upper level of iron intake for an adult is of 45mg/day
