What would be the traits of a good cqb weapon?E.g rate of fire, bullet calibre etc?
Given the same length and diameter, copper is the best. But copper corrodes just like aluminum does. More important is the ground network in your soil. Just tacking a metal rod on your house is not a lightning protection system. There must be a distribution network to the ground to dissipate the energy. That is driven by the capacitance of your soil. Basically if your soil is very dry, you are going to need a lot of rods pounded in the ground and if your soil is moist you will need less. Be very careful - if the whole system is not balanced correctly, you can actually attract lightning. There is a reason that there are specialized companies that design these systems. If you are protecting your home, the best protection is to be near something lightning likes better. Like a tall tree, or a hurricane fence.
