Question:

What would make a computer run?

I don't know how to describe it other than sounding as if it was in high gear kind of like the computer thinks it's going to do something? My computer sits here quiet almost all the time. My husband's which is right next to mine is constantly sounding as if it's in high gear and I don't know what would cause this?

Answer:

First, God bless you and welcome home! All people are welcome in Christ's Church, Catholic or not. I think you would enjoying visiting a church, so by all means go. I'd also encourage to speak to a priest while you're there, or call him on the phone first if you like. Tell him your desire to become Catholic. He can gladly guide you through the process. You should ask about RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults). These are the religious classes that teach you the Catholic faith. Once again, God bless and welcome home.
Sitting for that long with fuel in it, I'd suspect that the orifice is clogged up, and that it may not function at all, or not burn cleanly. Explosion risk? More likely, that tank has developed a leak, and won't hold pressure. If it were me, I'd give it a good, careful inspection, and test it outside, under safe conditions, standing upwind from it, and lighting it with something on the end of a long stick. While wearing safety goggles and perhaps other personal protection equipment.
Although I find leave a stove with gas in was not the smartest idea. I would clean the stove, test it and replace the gas. I don't find it a safety concern, as long as it is in good working condition. Remove the gas from the stove when you store it between camping.
