I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I want to refill transmission fluid but can‘t find the inlet. Isn‘t it the same location of level fluid ruler?
Ive never rode a motorcycle before but I have rode alot of manual atv's and there really easy to drive. I would think that they are probably pretty close to the same. Hope this helps :)
Not to many cheaper Auto bikes out right now, but you could look for an older one. Honda made several auto's in the late 70's early 80's look up Honda CM400A or CB750A.
its actually 70% percent motorcycles are manual. I learned that is not that all difficult to switch gears even if you do it wrong, for i ride a suzuki Gs500F. There is an increase in Automatical motorcycles, yet these bikes are bulkier and more expensive than their counterparts(i have seen myself). there's more than just Giving the motorcycle gas; you'll have to first: shift, clutch, gas, then shift to a higher gear. I learn how to shift on ATVs and learned to use a clutch of a manual in a Truck.
Yes, it IS the same as the transmission dipstick tube. You likely will need a funnel. It IS a pain in the butt! On the subject, if it has been more than 22,000 miles since the fluid has been changed, you should change it. Nothing ruins a transmission faster than worn out transmission fluid. If you are not a mechanic, (and it sounds like you are not) take it to a repair shop you trust. Many quick-lube stations offer the service for a little over $100.00 bucks. To replace your transmission is about $2500.00.Pay a little now, or pay alot later
Automatic transmission, add fluid in the dipstick hole. You want the engine running to check the fluid. Add only 1/2 qt. at a time max. If it's manual, the access hole is on the transmission under the vehicle. You'll want a manual to do it right, or pay a shop a nominal fee to do it.
