I have a transmission problem I put it in to gear and it won‘t go the only one that work is park
If you haven't already, check the fluid level before you call the tow truck. Could be that simple.

Have the car towed to an auto repair shop for an analysis. None of my cars go anywhere in park.
check you transmission fluid level, check to ensure your shift linkage has not become disconnected or jammed ( shift linkage is on the side or top of your transmission depending on front wheel or rear wheel drive) make sure brake is fully depressed when shifting from park to any gear as newer cars have a safety switch in which you cant shift from park without depressing the brake pedal
