im going to triple boot Vista, XP, gOS-Linux what do i need to do this with one boot loader screen
As long as that Linux distro comes with a pretty recent version of the linux boot loaders it should find Vista and XP when you install it. So if you install the OS's starting with XP then Vista and finally Linux, the Linux boot loader you pick should catch XP and Vista and automatically add them into the Linux boot loader screen. Now if you already have these OS's installed you are going to have to manually set up the Linux boot loader to point to XP and Vista. At this point you need to find out if you are using lilo or grub and find out how to add boot options for XP and Vista into your boot loader menu.
what is grub boot loader? ding ding ding lol... but yeah you will need grub, and need to know how to configure it(which is quite easy) if you need some help feel free to email me...
you're in basic terms allowed to have 3 usual partitions (An OS must be put in on a usual partition), so which you will could create a logicalpersistent. persist with so as: -deploy XP on a 40GB partition -deploy Vista on a 50GB partition -Create a logicalpersistent and use a 30 GB partition for solaris - Use the relax area interior the logicalpersistent for ubuntu in case you do not deploy the OSes in that order, you're able to have issues purely confirm you install Ubuntu final, it could immediately configure this is bootloader to run all the different OSes
