Hey guys, so I am getting a new phone and have no idea what to get. I had verizon, but after the two year contract, I got to overwhelmed with the price. I usually don't call that much, but I send a very large amount of texts. I want something that is very durable because I do tend to drop all my phones. I was considering the Samsung Intercept, the Blackberry Curve, and the LG Rumor touch.IF you could help me decide if Virgin mobile is worth the money and if the phones are good thatd be great. Also, which one of the phones you like the best.XOX,CALIlt;3
Virgin mobile is way better than Sprint and saves you over 400 dollars a year with the Samsung Intercept phone. Virgin mobile does have reoccuring charges to a credit card of bank account that makes it like a contract. You don't have to worry about forgetting because of the auto payments. I love Virgin Mobile, and I am a total believer over conventional contract programs. The LG Rumor Touch is a good touchscreen Java based phone, but if you want the real laptop in your pocket feel, go with the intercept. Blackberries come with additional charges from virgin mobile, but the Intercept does not for the all the same features and more free apps.
This one is easy. Intercept! It's the most expensive of the three, but it is the only Android phone. The Rumor is crap, and the Curve, in my opinion, sucks compared to an Android phone. If you want a cheaper contract service, go with Sprint (who owns Virgin's towers). You'll pay about the same as going with Virgin (70/mth with 450 minutes, Unlimited Txt, Unlimited Web, Unlimited Sprint TV) and you'll not have to worry if you forget to put money on your phone.because if you forget with Virgin, your phone will cut off. Also, phone wise, the Intercept will run you as low as 20.00 while with Virgin, it'll be more like 250.
