Answer:

I used the nipple shield with my daughter until she was 2 months old, I also answered another one of your questions, and Pippin had also answered that question. The nipple shield has a place cut out so that your daughters nose will still touch your skin, as it should, she will get used to having her face close to your skin. At 2 months I was producing 140oz of milk a day, believe me I had a stock full freezer, maybe it was just me, but I have no idea why it would interrupt your milk production, and if it is the right sized shield you should still have some tug and pull stimulation when your daughter nurses. I always expressed the extra milk after my daughter had had her full. This way, I knew she was already fed and I could save what was left. After my daughter got used to feeding off me exclusively for 2+ months, remember your daughter is only 10 days old, we had no problem removing the shield. Keep consulting your lactation consultant if you are confused or want help. I breast fed my daughter until she was 11 months, and had enough in the freezer that even now she gets breast milk, she's 15m old. Good Luck and keep it up!!!
flush the radiator. I have seen some water pumps were the fins have worn off causing low flow at low speeds.Putting cardboard on the radiator is only masking the problem. If your temp gauge is reading 1/2 that means you do have the correct temp on the engine . So to me you have a flow problem
