when vinyl siding is put on a house, and a 3 foot overhang installed, should there be wood on top of itEvery 3rd vinyl overhang piece has holes in it to allow air to flow into the attic.but there is a solid piece of wood on top appearing to block the air flow.Is this how siding is supposed to be.should I remove the wood.should I drill holes through the woodI have made sure that there is no insulation blocking the holes (or resting on top of the solid piece of wood on top of the holes).Did the contractor do this incorrectly.how do I fix this situation. The ceiling of my house is 85 degrees when it gets hot.and I think it has to do with there not being enough airflow through the atticI have a whirly bird on top, so I know there is a place for it to escape.
im getting my braces off in one weekim 15 ive been using Crest Whitening ExpressionsThey come in diff flavor/tastes[: its pretty great ive honestly seen a difference(:
Crest Whitestrips have worked really well for me30 minutes, twice a day for a week and they're much whiter.
There is a toothpaste you can buy which really helps, please don't go too white, half the people look like they have massive dentures in they are so whiteSo just go easy ya hear that gal.
I wouldn't suggest getting a teeth whitening thing, they're really expensiveI advise using those strip things, FYI, the ones that dissolve don't work that well but you don't have to worry about taking them off but ones that you have to take on and off work better
take the soffit back down and cut a 2 inch wide for each foot,or in your case a 6 inch slot through the lenght of the overhang, then push or remove any insulation within 2 inches of the roof sheating the whirley bird may handle the heat but my advice would be to run shinle over ridge vent, and never close off venting during cold months as your attic will sweat and rot from the inside out.
