Question:

Viper alarm system . installation code necessary ?

i recently purchased a viper alarm system with remote start system, i called in different places where they sell and install alarms and all said roughly the same thing. ..its gonna be around $200.oo and the code is gonna be $85.oo separate so it works with the power-locks and everything else.. -do they (as a licensed sound company) have exclusive knowledge of that? -can i find the code myself?-can i install it myself ?-do i have any other option?

Answer:

There is the inherent risk of fire or shock, but most products that are relatively new are quite safe in that regard. There is also the risk of Electromagnetic Fields produced by the AC current, which is a highly debated health risk.
Some would use an electric blanket only to pre- heat the bed in order to minimize risks associated with electromagnetic waves and electric shocks even though these risks may already be slight.
On extinguishers you'll see them typed by letters. You want Type B. Type A is for things like trash, wood, paper B is for liquids C is for electrical You can also get extinguishers that are good for ALL types, but if you want it mainly for that one thing, use type B.
