Question:

Viper car alarm problem?

I have a Viper car alarm that has keyless entry, the ability to roll down the windows by pressing the II button, and a thing that won't let the car start without an electronic key inserted in some sort of device. At any rate, I attempted to unlock the doors to my vehicle today, but the alarm would not sense the signal from my Viper keychain. The battery on the keychain was just recently changed, so I know that isn't the problem. We just had a heavy rain storm, and I saw some condensation inside my vehicle, so I'm thinking this has something to do with it. I can get into the car by manually unlocking it, but obviously I can't start the car because of the alarm. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Answer:

try lining a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and place it under whatever you are roasting so it catches all the drippings.
Climb up there, twist the cover of the device, remove the battery, go to the store, ask the clerk to match what you have, buy it, take it home, climb back up, insert battery. Ta - Da! In six months do the same thing again, just don't wait for the beeping this time.
Where is your alarm? Is it a smoke alarm or a heat alarm? Is your oven clean? Ideally you want a heat alarm in the kitchen and your kitchen door closed. Then use a good roasting tray to stop the dripping, even put foil on the bottom of the oven.
