here is a secret: good mechanics are harder to find then good doctors. a good clue on how to find a trustworthy and good tech is to visit a local auto parts store. a locally owned one, not a box store like autozone or pep boys. talk to the (hopefully ASE certified) counterpeople, and the can direct you to a competent tech.
Do a google search and then go to shopping it will pull up the cheapest price.
