Can you stack the matching dryer on top of this washer?Samsung 4.0 cu. ft. VRT Super Capacity Washer - WF328AAW Questions
Go with the LG or the whirlpool. The Whirlpool (WFW 9200 or 9400) are the best ones from them. The 9400 have 14 cycles and the 9200 have 11 or 12. LG Wm2487 or 2688. Have a steam wash so you can cut down on dry cleaning. All of them have 3.8-4.0. You and fit a king comforter, about 20 towels or 12 pair of jeans in them. They all use less water. 10-20 gallons. So you can do less loads and use less water per load. That's good for the water bill.
No, they are not designed or engineered to be stacked. The washer will not support the weight of the dryer vise versa. But if you know of a good experienced carpenter you can build a platform above the washer (with legs/supports to the floor) for the dryer to sit on. I have build a platform 5 feet high in a closet for a hot water heater they are very heavy when full of water.
I've seen different pieces where they are stacked on each other but I don't know the dynamics of it. I would call the place you got the washer/dryer or call Sears or Best Buy. They are friendly would really be able to give you an answer.
