I am waiting for my wool yarn to arrive so that I can crochet some diaper soakers, but I am wondering if i can waterproof acrylic yarn, can i lanolize it? just curious.
Acrylic yarn, being a petroleum product, is already waterproof, the fibers themselves, anywayAs for lanolizing it, it doesn't have pores for the lanolin to penetrate since it is plastic.
