Question:

went to get inspection, half of my brake lights wont work, he said it was $150 for new. can i replace bulbs?

the guy said it was $150 for brand new ones, is there a way to replace the broken bulb for far less than what he is charging me?

Answer:

I dont think you could have provided fewer details if you had tried to!!!!! How aqbout telling us what the hell it is you are driving/riding? Year? Make? Model? Ive never seen a tail light bulb cost $150. Usually more like $2.49 and half an hour of you cracking your knuckles trying to get the thing to come out of the socket.
Let me just add that you want those brake lights on first, in order to communicate to the driver behind you. Read your user's manual for the up and down shift sequences, and be aware of where your tach should be when you shift.
