Question:

Were there any documented Derailments involving the below listed Railroad Steam Locomotives?

Were there any derailments that involved the Union Pacific's Railroad Big Boy and Challenger Steam Locomotives? And if so how many Steam Cranes would have been needed to lift or re-rail a 1,010,000lb Locomotive such as the Big Boy, as the largest Steam Cranes were 250 tons? And were there any derailments of the Southern Pacific's Cab Forward 4-8-8-2 Steam Locomotives? I know the slightly lighter Steam Locomotives weighting in range from 50-120 tons derailed and even had a Book on Train Wrecks at one time which I don't have anymore showing a Brand new Steam Locomotive that had derailed not bad but was a pretty good sizeSo I know the larger ones derailed but was wondering if the UP SP engines stated derailedAnd if there are any pictures that would be interesting please feel free to listThanks
