Question:

what are better alternatives to green roofs (the kind where you have plants on top of your roof)?

Are there other, perhaps better, alternatives to these types of roofs? Can you recommend whether or not I should get a green roof?Does the production, use, or decay of the plants/ trees produce substance that destroy the ozone?

Answer:

Here's the one I use125g (125ml) butter 100g (125ml) sugar 175g (290ml) flour 1/2 an egg pinch of salt 2,5 ml baking powder 45g (96ml) cornflour 1x 780 g can pie apples ground cinnamon Brown sugar + - 2 tablespoons of extra flour Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy Beat in egg, and mix in dry ingredientsKnead to a smooth ballPress 1/2 the mixture into a pie dish, and pour apple ion topSprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugarAdd a small amount of extra Flour to the remaining dough, and grate over the topBake at 180 C ( 350 F) for 30 - 40 minutes
If you have a flat or nearly flat roof and if your roof was over-engineered to take the extra weight, green roofs are fineUnfortunately, extremely few houses can be retrofittedGreen roofs almost always are associated with new constructionIf you can't get a green roof, you can always increase the attic insulation or, if you have a flat roof, paint it to be reflective.
