OK, here's the best recipe so farGet a package of 10 flour tortillas(about 10 come in a pack)Keep them in the fridge for that quick meal anytimeTake one out, and coat one side with a light layer of olive oilNow, look through the fridge for leftoversPut whatever you have AND CHEESE onto the ungreased side and fold like a burritoPut the fold down on a cookie sheet and put into a 450 degree ovenCook for about 8-12 minutes until golden brownShell will be crisp and innerds will be hot! A little sour cream and MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
I love just boiling half a cup of pasta in a saucepan for 6-9 mins then drain add a jar of tomato pasta sauce and if you like a tin of tuna or some meat (optional) heat and thats it Also garlic bread is good I mix 1tsp garlic 1tbls butter 1tbls parmasan cheese spread on bread of choice and fry or grill You can buy frozen meals or frozen fillets of fish or chicken which I sometimes cook in the microwave or fry them add soy onion mushrooms redpepper and green beans (most veggies u can get prepacked washed chopped or frozen) sometimes I add a pack of mintue noodles after cookedBefore uni some mornings I add tub of yogurt, a banana, berries and milk for a quick smoothie or when really hungry and can wait for dinner
My absolute favourite is so simple and really tastyOn the way home from work, buy some of your favourite pasta (mine is linguine) and a jar of good green pesto, and some fresh ciabatta or french breadBoil the pasta for 8-10 minutes, drain, stir in a tablespoon of pesto or two, heat up again over heat for a few seconds and serve with fresh breadNo need to faff about - so comforting and so, so good!
I always keep some dried pasta and a jar of pasta sauce on hand for times like thatAdd a sprinkle of parmesan cheese (the real stuff, if possible) and you have a decent mean in less than 20 minutesTo make it REALLY fast, get one of those electric kettles and heat the water in thatPut a little water in the bottom of your pot and turn the heat on - by the time it boils, the kettle is doneDump it in the pot and you're ready to add the pastaThis way it only takes 5 minutes to bring 2 quarts of water to a boil, instead of 15 minutes.
