My cousin has this Moses bed that you put the baby in. You put the baby in between the bumpers so that the baby don't roll in the middle of the night and have a dead infant in the morning. What exactly are Moses Beds? Are they good for newborns to sleep in?
Strange isn't it, we've become totally paranoid about looking after babies and develop all kinds of things to supposedly protect them. The natural way is to sleep with your baby in bed with you, that way he/she can breastfeed whenever the desire arises (and means you don't have to get out of bed!), as well as having the warmth and comfort of your body. So, no need to buy a Moses bed (somehow can't imagine him being happy to have his name used for this), just snuggle up with your little one and enjoy the fabulous sensation of being able to love your little one all night long. Moses Beds/baskets' are just light and portable types of bassinets. It is a bed specifically for babies from birth to about four months, and small enough to provide a cocoon that small babies find comforting.
