I'm not disagreeing with computer user but honestly most companies are partitioning the hard drives so there take like 10GB's ( mines 11.8) for the system recovery. not saying that's whats happening with yours but usually that's the case dell could be different though. and if that is the case your computer should come with software to make recovery discs for that partition as a back up. :-)
