A flexible rubber snaffle. there is also an eggbut w/ and oval link (i use that on my pony in dressage/flatwork, its a soft bit) and i use a regular full cheek w/ copper rollers when jumping and going cross country (dont know if the rollers make a difference, horses like copper and the rollers give them something to play with). The full cheek is for extra control when steering. HOPE THIS HELPS :-D
Yeah, I've heard people use that too! They say paper wins because it supposibly covers the rock or something, but I prefer going with rock beating paper. :]
