Question:

What are some of your favorite high fiber dishes (meals and/or snacks)?

I have to increase my fiber (Doctor's orders). Thanks in advanced :)

Answer:

you can put less wet stuff in it, things like water and milk, it will make it less moist
slice it up and let the air get to it once it dries up a little cover it back up
Toast slices before you serve and slice cake with sharp serrated knife so it won't fall apartBTW this bread is awesome toasted with a smear of cream cheese.
I m 62-yrs old, and I ve baked my famous Pumpkin Bread since 1990; 8-Loaves each Christmas, and it never fails meuntil now!! When done, I did my usual sample taste, and it was wonderful, so I wrapped all the loaves, put in freezer, and went to bedIn morning, it was still still moist, but convinced myself it will get dryer on next dayIt didn tI think it was due to my Brain-confusion I ve been struggling with, and may have put too much water than I was supposed toCan this somehow be corrected? I tried smashing it and rolled it into balls, and put in toaster oven to see if it fixes itYes, the outer portion was slightly crispy, but the center was still mushyVery sad, so much ingredients to have lostPLEASE HELP TO FIX THIS!!!
One of my favorite things is to dip carrots celery into hummus, which is made from chick peasThey are high in fiber and ROCK! Additionally, Nature's Own had a double fiber bread that has 5 grams of fiber per sliceIf you make a sandwich for one meal, you'll have gotten 10 grams of fiberGood luck!
