Question:

What are the best sport bikes in the rain?

motorcycles

Answer:

Hands down, BMW. New BMW's have traction control, ABS brakes and ESA to adjust ride suspension on-the-fly with the press of a button. Nothing can touch a BMW in nasty conditions-- or pleasant ones for that matter.
in a heavy rain all bikes tend to hydroplane around 61mph slow down and run good tires maybe not the best but i run metzlers on mine and they do fine traction control and all that stuff helps but in the end the rider is the key to survival in the rain
It is not so much the bike as the rider and the maintenance on the bike. If you keep decent tires on it-with decent tread, and ride with common sense-you know, slow down when it just starts raining, allow plenty of extra space to get stopped, watch the road surface for slick spots for the bike as well as your boot when you go to put it down at a stop and as I advise-actually do some riding in the rain by choice and buy decent rain gear-Alpine Star is the best I have found so far and water proof boots you will be not only comfortable, but prepared for rainy weather.
Cheap is a relative term. They could all be cheap depending on whether or not the stone has been tumbled, cut, or remains unpolished. Also any of these could be cheap if you buy a small enough piece.
