Ceramic fiber insulation and glass wool insulation are both thermal insulation materials but have distinct differences. Ceramic fiber insulation is made from inorganic materials and is known for its high-temperature resistance, typically used in industrial settings where high heat is involved. It has a lower thermal conductivity and can withstand continuous exposure to temperatures up to 2000掳C. Glass wool insulation, on the other hand, is made from glass fibers and is more commonly used in construction for thermal and acoustic insulation. It is less resistant to high temperatures, with a maximum continuous use temperature around 500掳C.
