I am staying with a family in Maryland and this weekend they are going to take me to see any place i want to go in Washington DC, since im only staying for another week or so before i go back to Washington StateI want to see some crazy, fun and weird site-seeing places along with interesting places while im there, any ideas or reccommendations? And i cant spend much or any money, so it would be nice if they were free! Thanks!

The National Zoo is really coolIt is just outside of the city in Woodley Park but easily accessible by the MetroFor interesting stuff, take a night tour of the city and see all of the monuments lit up its really beautifulReally close to the White house is a place called the Old Post OfficeIt is really a big food court but you can ride up in this elevator to the top and see an awesome view of the city and all of the stuff you would see from the Washington Monument but less crowdedAlso if you get off of the Metro at the King Street Stop, they have a ghost walk of down town Alexandria Virgina at night which is pretty awesome but there is a fee for that oneI hope this was helpfulHave fun!!!
