What are the surface treatment methods of glass fiber?
Surface treatment methods can be generally divided into heat treatment and chemical treatment. The heat treatment method is that the glass fiber is treated with 10~15min at 340~350 DEG C to remove the wax emulsion on the surface so that the mechanical properties of the molded products can be improved.
One is adding polyvinyl acetate wetting agent on the glass fiber drawing process, the main component of wetting agent includes: (1) coupling agent (usually organic silane, accounting for about 5% of the total mass of wetting agent), functional groups and resin coupling agent at one end of the molecule, functional groups and the other end of the glass fibre. Which can improve the bonding function of different fiber and matrix; (2) polymer film forming agent (general and specific resin, accounted for about 95% of the total mass of wetting agent), used to be single
Two methods are employed for the chemical treatment of glass fibers
