Question:

What are your opinions on recycling aluminum?

1) Do you recycle aluminum (soda cans, etc.)?2) Why do or don't you recycle aluminum?3) Does it make a difference to the economy whether we recycle or not?4) Does it make a difference to the environment whether we recycle or not?5) What do you think would help people to recycle more? Such as a reward, information, resources, etc. Don't feel the need to limit responses. Thank you.

Answer:

no I dont recycle aluminum but I should have no place to store it yes it makes a difference because in stead of making more they can melt down what has already been made the contamination to our environment would be less I think re teaching about recycling an where to turn them in would be good along with showing how the aluminum impacts our environment when its not recycled would work
I ALWAYS recycle aluminum. I'm old enough to have been walking around this country before aluminum recycling became a normal thing and every ditch, lakeside, and creek was lined with anonymous silver cans, their painted advertising worn away. Aluminum is one of THE most costly resources to mine, transport and refine into a useable product. It takes HUGE amounts of power used to by industry to make a single aluminum can from ore. But it only takes a small fraction of that energy to recycle the can into a new one, or an aircraft wing, or a window sill or part of a car. Not recycling aluminum is like using the most expensive silk in the world for toilet paper.
1) I do recycle aluminum when I have it. 2) Well I don't really recycle it because I don't drink soda or beer or use much foil. It's actually bad for you all together so I avoid it. When I do recycle aluminum I do it we're taught that its supposed to be recycled. I more commonly recycle paper and plastic. 3) Of course it makes a difference whether we recycle. It allows for re use of most material in essence slows down the proportion of useless garbage. 4) Yes it does, in my opinion. 5) I think that being taught and explained thoroughly at a young age would help. Not only teaching but setting n example. Also, supplying readily available recycle bins at schools, shopping centers, public and at home should enforce it more.
1) Yes, I recycle aluminum. 2) I recycle to help from having to have so much in garbage dumps and to get a little extra cash. 3) I feel that recycling helps the economy by reusing aluminum and not having to spend so much time money manufaturing new aluminum and creating some jobs in the recycling field. 4) Recycling aluminum helps the environment by having less aluminum in land fills or alongside the roads. 5) I think more people would recycle aluminum if there was a reward or if you could get a higher price for the aluminum when recycling. Too many people feel the amount of money they can get for reycling aluminum, is not worth their time or the trouble.
1) Do you recycle aluminum (soda cans, etc.)? Yes, as much as possible. 2) Why do or don't you recycle aluminum? I recycle cans so the material can be reused in new products and applications. 3) Does it make a difference to the economy whether we recycle or not? Yes, it provides jobs and increases the availability of green materials which have been popular for a number of years. 4) Does it make a difference to the environment whether we recycle or not? Yes, aluminum leeching into the earth via landfill or other trash is not good. 5) What do you think would help people to recycle more? Such as a reward, information, resources, etc. Make it cool and popular to recycle. Recycling is far more prevalent now than it was 20 years ago when I started doing so on a regular basis.
