is there something that i can add to my bug zapper to attract these bugs and kill them faster?
Crane flies are concidered mild turf pests in some place, but they don't bite people. They like prefer moist areas. So if you want to kill them you could get rid of small moist areas or also could try normal bug spray on them.
they might be breeding somewhere close near your window. Check for magets which turn into flys and spray some raid out there. Get a screen on your window and get rid of any food or drink that they mind want you to share with them.
