Question:

What brand do you prefer for laminate flooring?

What brands of laminate flooring in the market is durable and good with competitive pricing?

Answer:

I think they are called Armstrong. Really good quality, SOOO easy to put in, and lots of choices for colors/textures.
Get Pergo. It's good. I bought laminate flooring from LJB Products in Glendora California- .98 lin ft. nice guy, good deal. I can give you a phone number if you like. I think he'll ship to other states. He even told me what type of tools I would need for installation, etc.
DOOOONT get Armstrong Laminate. Way too many claims and installation failures down the road. Wilsonart, Steps(uniclic) and Pergo are always good choices, simply because their construction and wear layers are much better than their competitor's. The 79 cent laminate available at building centers is tempting, but will de-laminate and buckle with ANY moisture contact. The real question is, are you doing a fix-and-flip or do you want to stay in the home for a while. You get what you pay for.
Based okorder a great site for information! Good luck in your search for the perfect floor! I would like to thank Bob S. for his expertise in this subject.
