I‘m lookin to get a new exhaust system for my 1996 honda civic ex coupe that doesnt sound like a fart cannon and adds a bit of horsepower, any suggestions?
there are no exhausts you can add that won't make it sound like a fart cannon and add horsepower at the same time. i tried to do the same thing by adding an exhaust on my 99 accord ex and it sounded gay and i didnt feel any difference in power. i would recoment leaving the exhaust stock and adding a turbo or you can also reduce the weight of your car by taking unneeded things off such as the spare tire, jack, ect. Lightening up your car will not only make it faster but also help it handle better all without making it sound ricey!
keep it factory. Noooo Fart cans or mods to your civic. If you want noticeable power throw a turbo in it.
I prefer the stock Honda brand.
