i want to install a camshaft in my truckits a 1980 k20 4x4 with a strong 350 motori was thinking of using a hydralic flat tappetwhat duration and lift could i go with without messing with my cylinder heads? and other suggestions for cam's are welcome im looking at lunati, comp cams, and crane cams.

Just saying you want a cam is a good start but matching the correct one to what you want requires a bit of looking If no speed shop , get tool free number for Jegs and talk to one of their techs He will ask you a lot of questions , but at least you will get right one Be sure and get complete kit You can change the springs with heads in truck .
