I have aluminum foil and a metal baking pan (dont know what its called) anyway would it be best to put them in the pan on aluminum foil or just on the pan or would neither work?
when i go camping i bake cookies and it works awesome! use your metal pan upside down and put your cookie dough onto the foilwhen done baking use another piece of foil for the next batch of cookiesslide the foil of the baked cookies right on the cake cooling rack or counter and the dough back onto the pan and into the oven it goes.

You mean an EiderdownYes, people do use themAs mentioned above, it is a quilt stuffed with Goose feathersI remember my grandmother having one years agoShe lived in an old house without central heating and it used to get unbelievably cold in the winter, and because the eiderdown is filled with feathers, it did an excellent job of keeping you warm in bed at nightNowadays we generally just use synthetic duvets as they are much easier to wash and keep clean.
Its a feather filled quilt which is used over blankets and a sheetI'm sure some ppl still use them but most ppl these days have a continental style duvet as it is a lot easier and quicker to make the bed with a duvet.
