Question:

What can I do for my front lawn?

I‘ve noticed recently a lot of mushrooms popping up in my front lawn. Most of them are small, but a few of them have been really big, with deep hard roots. What can I do to get rid of the shrooms?

Answer:

I'm in the same boat. I have just been picking them and throwing them away. Seems to be isolated to certain area's too.
change the PH level of the soil to more acid broadcast some lime . but ask a garden center
Try and get your PH levels to 6-6.5%. Try and spread Dolomite Lime over your lawn and hose it in deeply. This will counter act the germination of more mushrooms or toadies. To get a good lawn you need to firstly aerate the soil by pitching a garden fork into the lawn creating little holes every where.then fertilise in early Fall, and early Spring. This gives the little grass seedlings time to shoot in a even manner. Remember to water deeply but less often. Only water in the mornings so you don't create fungal spores. If you do you are back to square one.
