if there really pitted sand it down you can buy polishing discs that fit on a grinder and the polish comes in bars brown green and white and u use them in that order brown being the coarser i use an acid to clean them first makes it easyier forget what its called but they use it to etch and cleen concrete its strong so where gloves and dont spill it and flour helps get the polish off if it gets in any pits and scratches
