I'm finally getting my own room, the bad part is I cant get a new colored carpet. I'm painting the walls light purple and I need to know a good rug color so I can make the green carpet and light purple walls match. I was thinking lime green, a friend gave me the idea. Which color do you think will go good with it?
i in my view like heat colorings. I even have brown fixtures and painted the partitions a paprika colour. No, it particularly is not any longer orange; i pick the colour very heavily to ward off this. seems great w/ a heat tan and olive (no longer sage) accessory colorings. very heat and comfortable and could no longer seem washed out in a room w/lots of organic solar. in spite of the fact that in case you do unlike green real olive is extremely diverse from sage and if used as an accessory colour basically, he might actual like it. confident, the crimson and sage component grow to be vast some years in the past, no lots any further. in case you stick w/yellow you may make it extra of a gold tone to soften and upload some intensity.
Light purple and green do not really make a bad combination. My neighbor's got flowers of light purple that beautifully stand out against the green leaves. In interior design, it is also known that among the best complementing colors to use with purple are green and yellow. So, this makes my answer yellow. If you'll use the added yellow, sparingly, you can opt for brighter tones making up for accent in your decor. But if you will be using much of this color, lighter would be safer and less overwhelming. Good luck. :)
You need to pick up the same color in your wall and a tad of the green in your existing rug. No, not lime green! I suggest you find a rug first that will look good with your existing rug and then choose the shade of purple that you can pull from the rug. There are lots of paint colors but limited amounts of rugs. Maybe a cream background with the dark green and some shade of purple? Hold off on your paint color for now. Or, the same shade of green as your carpet with some shade of purple and cream in the rug. Then, match your wall color to the purple in the rug you choose.
