You could get stds even if you did know their past. Some people don't even know they are infected with anything, don't show signs, but can still pass it on. The best thing is to find one girl you really like and be monogamous. As exciting as lots of different girls may be, you are taking a risk every time. Just imagine that when you have oral sex with a girl, you are having sexual contact with everyone else they ever had sex with too.
Yes you can get STDs on your mouth and/or in your throat. You can give safer oral sex to a girl by using a dental dam. Its like a piece of plastic placed over the genitals. Not very romantic but much safer for you both. You can also give her STDs from your mouth, like herpes, cold sores. Be careful.
Everybody is right. The main one is herpes. But you can get any STDs. Know their past first. I wouldn't definitely do anyone unless I knew their past. If they're not willing to tell you, then they got something to hide. You can get thrush although that is more common in babies. It's pleasurable to us and maybe even to you, but just know your facts. If you want to do it that bad, then find a girl you know as a friend and you know what she has dealt with and been with and do her. If she's a close friend, don't mess up the friendship.
