Question:

What damages hair more? Flat ironing or Rebonding (permanent straightening)?

I need to do SOMETHING about my frizz of hair by next year before I start Uni, so I need to come to a conclusion about making it straight, since my Mum doesn't want me to either iron my hair daily OR rebond it coz she thinks it damages my hairWell, I know it does, but I NEED to do itSo, tell me guys, what's worse?!?!?!

Answer:

R38 Insulation Home Depot
Vapor barriers always go on the heated side of walls or ceilingsIf you are going to add insulation to your attic and don't want to put in more blown in insulation ( which does have a better R-factor) then purchase unfaced fiberglass insulation to put on top of existing insulationThe thing you need to avoid is called double vapor barriersYears ago when the first started playing with super insulated houses they would put a poly on the inside and outside of the wallsWhat happened is any moisture picked up in the walls going from summer to winter would get trapped in the walls and rot them outNo matter what only one vapor barrier on the heated side of the insulation!!! Then your house can breath and release moisture regardless how thick your walls or ceiling.
Neither oneThe paper is a vapor barrier and it always goes against the ceiling or inside wall, before any insulationNot over the insulation or over existing insulationYou will get condensation at the paper, make the insulation wet and loose the insulating qualityYou want non faced insulation to lay over your existing insulationThe others are wrongCall a local builder and ask.

I believe permanent straightening is more damaging if you subject your hair to it often, and since it frizzes up a lot, it probably wouldn't be a good ideaOf course, flat ironing your hair often can also cause a lot of damage, but only if you use a flat iron with aluminum or painted platesCheap, painted plates can make the frizz problem worse and add more issues like dryness and brittle strandsif you find a flat iron that features genuine plates made of pure ceramic, titanium or tourmaline, your hair stands a better chance of staying healthy and looking frizz-freeThe Karmin G3 Salon Pro has pure ceramic tourmaline plates and makes hair look ultra smooth and shiny, plus it improves the health of your hair even if you use it dailyIt's a much better option than permanent straightening, as long as you use a thermal protectant with itHave you considered a conditioning treatment? It could also help with frizz If you want to check out the Karmin, you can find it here: ryless.ca
