My cat ruined my carpet, and I want to rip it up. Where do I take the carpet ?

If you have curbside garbage pick up, they will take it if you cut the carpet in 4 foot wide sections, rolled up and tied.
Where ever you take or put your garbage now , BUT, Landfills may charge you because its non compactible trash. Your curb side pick up generally will take it if you put it out in just a few , small cut up (tied or taped) rolls at a time . Don t try all the carpet at once they usually won t do that much at a time. I ve run into some companies that will do a one time spring clean up pick up service. Some have this as a service ( once a year) but most people don t know about it because they don t tell you up front. Cut the carpet from the back its much easier, tie or duct tape it in easy to carry rolls.
