If the rock pure or nearly pure calcium magnesium carbonate, it is dolomite. I am not sure whether you are asking about dolomite (pure or nearly pure calcium magnesium carbonate), or dolostone (a mixture of calcium carbonate and calcium magnesium carbonate)
