Do you mean a sleigh bed? It looks like someone put a mattress in the middle of an old-time sleigh but the sleigh is made of wood rather than steel.
you have a headboard at the head of the bed and a footboard at the foot of the bed. when the sell them the just call them beds. otherwise you just buy a headboard separately and then still need a bedframe. Old time brass beds are beds if you get what I mean.
