Question:

what does iron turn into when boiled?

as you can see in that chart, iron has a boiling point, but doesn‘t have a C value for gas. what does this mean? What happens when iron is boiled?

Answer:

Iron turns into a gas, just like most other things, when it is heated to a termperature above its boiling point. The chart is saying that it doesn't know what the heat capacity of iron gas is. That's not surprising since running calorimeter experiments at temperatures above 2860 °C would be extremely difficult. [For example, how would keep the calorimeter from melting?] Similarly, there is very little need for knowing the heat capacity of iron gas because no one is likely to be messing around with gaseous iron anyway.
