what function of ceramic capacitor?
Don't ever get a transmission flush it moves all the dirt around and causes failure. Have the ATF drained and filled. If there is a serviceable filter have it replaced. ATF should be changed every 60,000 miles. Every 30,000 miles on Asian vehicles is best.
Who the hell is working on your car?! If I had to have an automatic transmission rebuilt 3 times I would habe driven it through the front door of the idiots playing with my car!!! Off color ATF is not a good sign and even though it's only been 1,000 miles since the last rebuild I would have it drained and filled at the dealer. Flushing is never recommended by master mechanics and I doubt your filter is serviceable with out splitting the tranny case! Sell it immediately after the drain and fill! What a POS!
ALL transmissions require a fluid change!!! THe viscosity and the coefficients of friction wear out as the fluid ages and gets more toxic with acids. THe color of the fluid CAN be an indicator. You are VERY SMART for asking this question ,but dumb for NOT including the kind of car this is. IT makes a TOTAL difference in the answer. NEVER trust an oil change center with this issue. THey will nearly ALWAYS have some contaminated fluid. If you can see their flushing machine, you will know what I am talking about! The RIGHT thing to do is to call the DEALERSHIP that sells your particular car and ask if they are running any special. Most times, you will get popper flush and fill lNAD filter and gasket change for under $100. BUT IT WILL BE DONE RIGHT with the PROPER fluid. Many Asian cars, for example, have special additives in the fluid that so-called universal dexron does NOT have, THis is the primary reason for fluid changes to go BAD. IMPROPER FLUID CHANGE. When I do this service, I wash the valve body down with CHLORINATED BRAKE CLEANER. This removes any sediment and random clutch material and leaves things pretty much brand new. In many cases, I will drop the valve body and wash things down BEHIND it. THEN I do the flush and fill. GOOD LUCK!!! This is a REQUIRED service. Don't listen to these other jokers. This is called PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE!! Many German cars have dfrain plugs on the converters. Real old American cars had this as well. Most modern cars feel the extra money involved in useing a converter drain plug is too costly. IT ALL DEPENDS UPON your CAR BRAND!!
A ceramic capacitor isn't much different from other types of capacitor, although it (along with mica) does seem to be better for high frequency performance. .
