Im on low budget and im thinking about buying one of these two cards but im very undecided please help me choose from eather a Galaxy GeForce 9400 GT 512MB DDR2 or a XFX GeForce 8500 GT Ultra Silent Cooling Video Card - 512MB DDR2
yea you should go for geforce 8500 as its probably one of the cheapest but u will have to play your games on low detail but that doesnt take the fun out of the games.or for a slight improvment you should get more ram as its far cheaper and it can make a huge diffrence to gaming
go with a 8800 gt it will probably cost a little less than the 9400 and will possibly even have better performance. otherwise id go with the 9400 instead of the 8500.
Um... if you have the money to afford the 9400GT, it's a much newer card and will perform better. They have the same memory cache and all. No matter how far you upgrade the processor and/or the RAM, the video card will still be the number one thing slowing down a game. The video card is the first thing responsible for rendering and processing games. Therefore, you should go for the higher card, as the 8000 series is pretty outdated now.
