Question:

what hair iron should i buy?

i already have a flat iron but i was wondering if i should get the thinner one or a crimper or curling ironIDK. HELP!

Answer:

Get a Chi flat iron. It can curl your hair and straighten it. Therefore you get a 2 in 1 deal!
First, does your flat iron work well for you? If it does, don't buy a new one, if it doesn't, buy a better one. I'd suggest for a cheaper but good alternative, Cortex. But if you're willing to pay a bit more an Amika is a good choice. Also many straighteners can curl hair so if you know how don't bother with a curling iron, if you can't curl with your straightener you might wanna buy one that you can with, it's like a win-win! New straightener, new curling iron! Don't bother with a crimper, rather get a Triple Barrel or a Waver. It's kind of in now to curl your hair and some people just can't with their straightener so if you have trouble with that then go with a curling iron! Good luck! P.S. if you have time, please check out my hair blog- it'd be really appreciated! damagebegone.blogspot.ca/
The 'thumping' sound may be coming from the chain if it is worn, not lubed and installed too tight. The thump comes from the irregularites between the stretched chain and the two sprockets.
If it is coming from the tire, then there is an issue with that tire. It could be flat. Note the part that is not round on the bottom. Back off it comes and back to the same shop with your receipt to prove they did it. Now it may come down to the fact the tire is a cheap one and is separating. Not enough information given. Let the shop look over that tire again. Explain the story again to them and chances are they will dismount and remount the tire and that is it.
