im a little indecisive about what to get. im looking at Skullcandy Crushers (i heard the headband breaks but skullcandy has lifetime warranty) and Sony X Series MDR-X10/BLK or RED. im kind of leaning towards Sony right now but i need help. i am open to other headphones $200 and below. looking for best sound quality. DO NOT TELL ME TO GET BEATS I REFUSE TO BUY THOSE!
Yes get the sony mdr x10 headphones. They sound pretty good from what I heard. Any sony headphones sound really good.
Audio-Technica ATH-WS99 Solid Bass ~$210 on Amazon Audio-Technica ATH-A900X ~$160-$220 (If you're willing to buy refurbs, I've seen them as low as $120. Definitely a bargain at that price.) Or wait a bit for the new Sony MDR-10R set to be released in October. ~$200
I've tried so many earphones and headphones. Best sound quality I've heard for less than $200 is Sol Republic Tracks HD headphones and Boomphones DJ Style headphones. Boomphones are like the Flip Audio headphones you see in commercials that turn into portable speakers, but they don't flip out and they have better sound quality when you're listening in headphone mode. Personally, I'd recommend Sol Republic HD a little more than Boomphones.
I think the Sony MDR-X10 is better than bose and beats. It has some nice bass that's close to beats and it comfortable comes close to bose. And I would choose it over Skullcandy crushers. I think the MDR-X10 has great durability.
