I have a 87 buick regal limited I plan on getting a new dual exhaust system but also I plan on upgradeing the motor to a 350 later on this year is this a good idea I was told to get engine swap first.but I want dual exhaust because I know a guy that is doing the job for a low price right now also the car has a v6 in it right now.
No way boss. Get the swap first.you don't know if the new exhaust is going to mate properly (depends on how the engine sits in the bay). Um and.you'll need new headers (at the minimum) isn't a 350 a v8?
Well for one thing the exhaust is probaly gonna be a different diameter so I would recommend waiting. If it cost you a few more bucks to wait it would still be better than doing it twice.
