Im in australia so things are a little different to what everyone else has said. I go to a pony club which has its own grounds, stables, arenas and xcountry course. We meet once a month. You have grades, starting at D then D*, C, C* ect, and you have to do tests to move up, both written and practical. I think the only rule about what horses is that they can't be under the age of 4, but other than that none that I know of, since there are some horses that are still a bit green at my PC. I don't believe it is competitive (if it is I don't know about it probably end of year prizes or something), though PC is a good place to find out about local competitions and they host some as well. We usually do 3 lessons, usually a flat work, jumping and xcountry lesson or games depending on the level of the group, and one theory/unmounted lesson. Theory/unmounted rages from learning what you need for your next test, there was a horsemanship lesson, people coming in to talk about caring for your horse, and a showman lesson (leading and desensitising the horses)

Depends on your budget, and personal safety issues. Lacking an industrial furnace, the best fire would have to have added fuel, as drums are not readily combustible, greatly improved by using the enhancement of pure oxygen. Ignition best done by something better than a match. All such should be well-away from a home or vehicle, etc. A pure smashing demolition might allow a closer proximity, but safety gear, like long-sleeved clothing, gloves, and safety glasses is good to prevent shards/shrapnel from harming you. As an aside, 'could get it done by running over it with a vehicle in a parking lot, 'trick being to keep from getting the wreckage under it, potentially damaging the engine oil pan, hydraulic or fuel lines underneath, etc. Personally, I'd recommend high explosives, in a remote location, given access to proper explosives, det cord, and suitable trigger. Whatever you do, be a good citizen and clean up the mess when done. Oh, and stop biting your nails.
