What if elvis had preformed at woodstock?
He probably would have been laughed off the stage. The whole Vegas big band thing wouldn't have gone down well with that crowd, just take a look at Sha Na Na and how geeky people thought 50's rock and roll was.
He could have had a new contract because he may have wanted to get a better deal and do better movies because they could have given him better movie scripts but they only wanted to make as much money as they could from his level of talent.
It would have been like 'Yes' at the original Lollapalooza or Tom Petty at Van's Warped Tour. Both really good musicians/bands... but completely different styles, scenes, and eras. The only place Elvis and Woodstock went together at all was in Don McLean's 'American Pie.'

Elvis once contacted President Nixon, asking him to ban all four members of The Beatles from entering the United States because, as Presley felt they were a bad influence on American youth and contributed to their anti-American, anti-capitalistic, anti-war sentiments and contributed to their “unkempt appearances.
