That is not altogether true. The GTI is a sporty vehicle yes, but its also a reliable daily driver. The tires and rims are not made like that of an SUV where you can go off road but they are able to survive your daily trips though a major city. Pot holes and speed bumps are not a big hinderance to the GTI. As far as vw finance rates go, I don't see them getting much better anytime soon. This is why I suggest you take a trip your dealer at the end of the month and negotiate like hell. If you do that you'll be better off. Also you can shop around for outside financeing. I know capital one has a blank check financing that alows you to negotiate as if you were paying cash better deal.
